Trim Levels of the 2022 Nissan Armada

The Nissan Armada is available in five different trims – S, SV, SL, Midnight Edition, and Platinum. All these trims are available with the choice of RWD or AWD and boast powerful engines. The Armada also encompasses a wide range of safety features and driver-assistance technologies, making it an excellent purchase for those who want a reliable vehicle for their family.

Does the 2022 Nissan Armada have a powerful engine?

A 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V-8 engine powers all the trims in the Armada lineup. The engine generates 400 HP @ 5,800 RPM and 413 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4,000 RPM. Based on the drivetrain, engine power is routed to either the rear wheels or all wheels of the 2022 Nissan Armada through a 7-speed automatic gearbox with manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching. The 2022 Armada can tow a maximum of 8,500 lbs. and has a maximum payload capacity of 1,650 lbs. These are great performance ratings. However, the gas mileage of the 2022 Nissan Armada is on the disappointing side. The RWD variants of the 2022 Armada offer 14 MPG city and 19 MPG highway, and the AWD ones offer 13 MPG city and 18 MPG highway.
